Plouc Prounces

Jan 25, 2016

Having just his second run for the stable, Plouc was an impressive winner at Yarra Valley on Saturday, always travelling well behind the leader and shooting clear in the run home.

A horse on the up, Plouc saluted by a soft 2 1/4 lengths - breaking through for his maiden victory at his sixth start.

Racing a bit too keenly when debuting for us at Moonee Valley in December, the four-year-old did everything right this time, having the race won a fair way from home.

Raced by Boomerang Breeding whose Maurice Messara (father of Arrowfield Stud's John Messara) passed away recently, Plouc is a son of Domesday (pictured) and the winning Grass Wonder mare Polissonne, half-sister to the Group placed Zigotto.
