Tac De Boistron Retired

"He has been a great horse for a lot of people," Michael Kent said upon hearing the news that grand campaigner Tac de Boistron was retired last week.

A popular and talented grey raced by a large group of enthusiastic owners, the two time Gr.1 Prix Royal Oak winner raced just twice for us in Australia (including the 2012 Melbourne Cup won by Green Moon), the firm tracks not to his liking.

But his good looks and temperament earned him fans during his short time here and his owners led by Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock had a great time cheering him onto feature race victories in England and France.

Tac de Boistron was trained in Europe by Marco Botti who said that "we were lucky to have been graced with such a tough warrior. It was a pleasure to train him."
