3 for 3 at Cranbourne trials

Aug 08, 2014

The stable enjoyed a good morning at the Cranbourne trials on Monday with all three of our runners winning their heats.

Kicking off our successful morning was Good Value who had only two rivals to beat but he accounted for them easily, his winning margin and impressive four lengths.

A five times winner, the lightly raced eight-year-old is deserving of another victory at metropolitan level and he lines up in the final race at Flemington on Saturday with apprentice Regan Bayliss claiming 3kg.

Our second trial winner was Chemistry who is a recent addition to the stable having raced once in Sydney earlier in the year. Finding trouble when out of the placings at her debut, the well related daughter of Shamardal looked good saluting by 2½ lengths.

A daughter of the stakes placed Tick By, Chemistry is a granddaughter of the terrific mare Klokka, a five times Group winner.

Tough mare Danestroem (pictured) was the third of our trial winning trio and she found the line well. Back from a successful summer campaign, the Elvstroem five-year-old is one to look out for as she boasts good first up form.

In the meantime we have a busy weekend ahead and we wish the best of luck to the connections of Danish Whiskey, Darlimurla Star, Good Value, Miss Matty, Fire Truck and Street Minx.
